Terms of Service

Effective July 30, 2026

These terms govern your use of Family Football Pool (the “Service”), operated by Lavin Advisory, LLC. By creating an account or joining a league, you agree to them.

What the Service does

The Service is a scorekeeping tool for football pools. A league administrator posts a weekly slate of games with point spreads, members submit picks, and the Service grades those picks and publishes standings. That is the whole of it.

No wagering, no money

The Service does not accept, hold, transmit, or pay out money of any kind. It processes no payments and operates no wallet, escrow, or prize pool. If your league has an entry fee, that arrangement is strictly between you and your league administrator and happens entirely outside the Service. An administrator may record whether a member has paid, but that is a private note for their own bookkeeping and moves no funds.

You are responsible for ensuring your participation in any pool is lawful where you live. Laws on contests and wagering vary by jurisdiction. We do not provide legal advice, and nothing here should be read as a determination that any particular pool is lawful. If you are unsure, do not participate.

Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• Provide accurate information and keep your sign-in method secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
• One account per person. Do not submit picks as someone else.

Leagues and administrators

Leagues are created by redeeming a code we issue, and members join with an invite code from their administrator. Administrators control their league’s settings, membership, and weekly slate, and can enter or correct spreads, results, and picks — for example when a member sends picks by text or email. Those actions are recorded in an audit log.

The administrator’s decisions govern their league, not ours. We provide the tool; we do not referee disputes about rules, scoring judgments, eligibility, or fees. Raise those with your administrator.

Sports data and accuracy

Schedules, point spreads, and final scores come from third-party sources and may be delayed, incomplete, or wrong. We make a reasonable effort to keep them accurate and give administrators tools to correct them, but we do not warrant that any of it is correct. Point spreads shown are for pool scoring only and are not betting advice.

Picks lock individually at each game’s scheduled kickoff. Scheduled times can change. Where a game is postponed, cancelled, or rescheduled, your league administrator decides how it is handled.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to submit or alter picks after a game has locked, or otherwise interfere with scoring.
• Access another member’s account or picks, or any league you were not invited to.
• Probe, scrape, overload, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
• Use the Service to harass others or for any unlawful purpose.

We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms, and administrators may remove members from their own leagues.

Availability

The Service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee it will be available, uninterrupted, or error-free at any particular moment — including immediately before a pick deadline. Build in some margin, and contact your administrator if you cannot submit picks in time.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lavin Advisory, LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any lost entry fees, disputed winnings, missed picks, or scoring errors arising from your use of the Service. Because the Service is provided free of charge, our total liability to you is limited to any amount you have paid us, which is zero.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you submit. You grant us the limited right to store and display it as needed to operate the Service — for example showing your picks and standings to your league.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, or discontinue the Service, with notice where practical.

Changes

We may update these terms. We will change the effective date above and, for significant changes, notify you. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept it.
